October 2015 Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown was purchased by Group1 Automotive after being owned by Garlyn Shelton for 40 years.

MB of Georgetown was awarded the Sprinter van franchise January 2010. Since then we have grown to be one of the largest volume Mercedes commercial van dealers in the country.

We built a separate stand alone, fully equiped, air conditioned, 4 bay Sprinter Service facility here at our Georgetown location, and have expanded it by two more Commercial Van specific service bays. We have four full time Sprinter tech’s working back there, and we are ready to service your Mercedes, Freightliner or Dodge Sprinter Vans. Our expert parts guys are able to get your Sprinter parts, either in stock or next day delivered in most cases.

Since 2010 we have sold Sprinter and now Metris vans all over the USA with one going to Alaska, another in south Florida, in New York City, in Sacramento California, and oh yes, we sold some right here in Texas as well. Many different uses from an artist, a Spa sales, a guy who carries his prize Dobermans to shows. This along with the normal RV’ers, commercial users and one of the local school districts, and guess what, everyone loves their Sprinter Van.

We carry a large inventory of vans in stock, and will gladly order to your specifications. We have conversion companies who can turn your van into whatever you want it to be. There are companies that provide everything from shelving to complete interiors, and we have services who can wrap your van with signage to make it a driving billboard.

Let us know what you would like to use a Sprinter or Metris Van for, and let us help you achieve your dreams.

    • Randy,
OK, help me out here. Are you looking for a Sprinter with these features on it? Are you looking for a regular Sprinter passenger van or a cargo van with the mobility stuff added? What did you mean, 41,000 plus lift is a lot, was this a price you were looking at?

How can I, the Sprinter Guy best help you?

    • From what my factory rep has told me, we will not be able to place the orders for the 4×4 until December with first ones coming early spring 2015.

I will know more once we get back from our annual Sprinter Managers meeting in early June.

      Hang in there.

      Dave
